When do I get paid?

Monthly, on the 1st. Direct deposit via Stripe Connect to your bank. No minimum threshold.

Do you take 1099?

Yes. If you earn $2,000+ in a calendar year, we file a 1099-NEC in January. Stripe handles the actual reporting.

What counts as a referral?

An athlete clicks your /a/[handle] link → signs up → starts a paid subscription. You get 25% of every monthly charge they pay. As long as they stay subscribed, you keep earning.

Is there a downline / multi-level component?

No. Creators get a clean flat 25%. We don't pay you on other creators you recruit — keeps the math honest and the program simple. (Clubs / schools / 501(c)(3)s do get a small second-tier override, since their model is org-driven.)

Can I lose my affiliate spot?

Only if you violate the agreement (spam, fake signups, paid bots). Real promotion → permanent spot, no quotas.
