My name is Cole Perkins, and I have lived in Durango, Colorado, my entire life. I am currently a sophomore in high school and have been playing both football and baseball since first grade. These sports have provided me with countless opportunities, valuable life lessons, and a great sense of accomplishment. During middle school, my football team won back-to-back championships, which gave me the opportunity to earn an invitation to Colorado CYFI, a highly competitive football camp that requires athletes to be selected. Attending the camp allowed me to compete against some of the best players in the state and further develop my skills. As a freshman, I achieved one of my goals by earning a spot on the varsity football team as a backup quarterback. This experience challenged me to work harder, improve as a player, and grow as a leader both on and off the field.
