Terms of Service

Athlete Intelligence ("the Service") is operated by Athlete Intelligence LLC, a Utah limited liability company ("Athlete Intelligence," "we," "us," or "our"). Contact: legal@pdfformula.io.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. Users under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian agree to these Terms on their behalf and provide consent for any data collection.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at support@pdfformula.io if you suspect unauthorized access.

The Service offers a free tier and paid subscription tiers (currently Prospect, Recruit, Commit, and Commit Pro). Paid tiers are billed monthly via Stripe, Inc. starting on the day you subscribe.

Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically each month until you cancel. Cancel anytime from your account settings — you keep access through the end of your current billing period.

Upgrades: Upgrading to a higher tier mid-period results in an immediate prorated charge for the difference, calculated by Stripe over the remaining days. Your new tier activates upon successful payment.

Downgrades: Downgrading to a lower tier takes effect at the start of your next billing period. No partial refund is issued for the unused portion of your current tier.

Failed payments: If a renewal payment fails, your account enters a 7-day grace period during which we will retry payment and email you. If payment is not updated within the grace period, your account reverts to the free tier.

All subscription payments are non-refundable except where required by law. We do not pro-rate refunds for partial-month cancellations.

If you believe you were charged in error, contact billing@pdfformula.io within 30 days and we'll review your case in good faith.

You retain full ownership of the content you upload (profile data, photos, videos, written content). By using the Service, you grant Athlete Intelligence a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, cache, and transmit your content solely as necessary to operate the Service — including making your public profile visible to college coaches and indexable by search engines (Google, Bing, etc.) when you set your profile to public.

Public profiles: When you mark your profile as public, content you've added (name, sport, position, grad year, photo, highlight reel, school + club affiliations, awards, public statement, etc.) becomes publicly viewable and may be indexed by search engines. You can set your profile to private at any time from your account settings, which removes it from search indexes within roughly 30 days.

Data deletion: You can delete your account at any time. Account deletion removes your data from active systems within 7 days and from backups within 90 days. Some anonymized usage analytics may be retained indefinitely.

You agree not to:

• Impersonate another person, athlete, coach, or institution.
• Upload content you don't own or have permission to use (especially photos and video).
• Use the Service to send unsolicited bulk messages, spam, or any content that violates NCAA, NAIA, or NJCAA recruiting rules applicable to you.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or use automated tools to extract data from the Service.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service without written permission.
• Use the Service to harass, threaten, or harm other users or third parties.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section. You are responsible for compliance with all applicable NCAA / NAIA / NJCAA recruiting rules — the Service is a tool, not legal advice on eligibility or contact periods.

Several Service features use artificial intelligence (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI models, and our own scoring algorithms). AI-generated output — including drafted coach outreach emails, AI Coach responses, college fit scores, and the PDF Athlete Score — is informational only and may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and editing AI-generated content before sending it.

College fit scores, coach recommendations, and recruiting timelines are estimates based on publicly available data and your profile inputs. They are not predictions, guarantees, or admissions advice.

If you participate in our affiliate program, additional terms apply (see the Affiliate Agreement). Commission payouts are made via Stripe Connect to your verified account.

The Service — including the "Athlete Intelligence" and "Athlete Intelligence" names, logos, and the PDF Athlete Score™ scoring methodology — is owned by Athlete Intelligence LLC and protected by U.S. and international IP law.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL RESULT IN A COLLEGE OFFER, SCHOLARSHIP, ROSTER SPOT, OR ANY SPECIFIC RECRUITING OUTCOME.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ATHLETE INTELLIGENCE LLC'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. IN NO EVENT WILL WE BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email to the address on your account and posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflicts-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or your use of the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Salt Lake County, Utah, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
